In a lonely, windswept land, where waves crash against the cliffs, stands a forgotten tower. In its highest chamber, hidden from the world below, a prisoner stirs from a long slumber, beckoned by the whispers of her past...

AFTERWORD

At last, my 6th game is released - and I'm incredibly proud of this one! I wanted to take a shot at a project that was more ambitious than any game I had done before. I settled on attempting a puzzle game, as I figured that would provide a good opportunity to do some mechanical design and some level design. Funny enough, this started out as a jam game that definitely missed the deadline by a few days weeks months (not the first time that's happened) - but hey, I'm just happy it made it to see the light of day!

It's been awesome to work on a slightly bigger project like this - and I definitely learned a lot. I'm super excited to start applying all of the sweet new skills I acquired over the course of this game to my next project - which will be incredibly awesome and totally something you should be excited for.

I just wanted to drop an extra thank you to some folks. Thank you Cody for generously offering to write a piece of original music for the game. It turned out absolutely incredible and made me seriously question if you have mind-reading abilities as the track fit the vibe I was going for perfectly. Thank you to everyone who bravely played the game early (Logan, Dave, Mom, and Dad) for giving feedback and finding some bugs - without you, we'd still be able to clip inside some of the blocks and freeze and crash and survive with arrows sticking out of our body and the world would be a damn crazy place. Thank you Kate for enduring way more yapping than any human should ever have to endure regarding a tiny puzzle game. Your encouragement gave me that extra push I needed to finish the game and release it in a state I am proud of.

Thanks for playing!

The visual effect is so nice !

The screen moves are a bit jerky, I hope it will be smootrher in next version.

Congratulations.

Good game, Input movement feels really strange

Thanks for playing! Mind if I ask which part about the movement specifically? I feel like the two areas I want to improve/fix involve increasing the movement speed and  adding the ability for a player to hold down a key to continuously move in a certain direction.

Hey, I feel like the movement is slowly between each step she moves, improving the movement speed will supply this issue i guess

Got it, thank you! I'll see what I can do.

I really like this arcade-like bulky screen visuals, interesting mechanics and levels. The only suggestion (a personal thought) would be to add some kind of checkpoints inside the levels or make movement less time-consuming because if you accidentally lose - you need to start from the beginning and it can take a lot of time to get to the previous point once again. Rated the game 5/5 and followed. Good job!

Thank you! I see what you're saying, some of the larger levels do take a bit of time to traverse. I'll investigate and see if there's anything I can do to improve it. I appreciate the feedback!
